There are many reasons to blog. To many people, it is a hobby. To some others, this is their job. Some bloggers are artistic; they are amazing photographers and creative writers. I have recently had the pleasure of meeting through my blog great talent in the kitchen, behind a camera, and at the keypad. People that inspire me and many others.
My friend Brian, from A Thought for Food, is one of those people. He is a thoughtful writer, a beautiful photographer, and talented in the kitchen (and an all-around super guy). This past weekend, he passed a One Lovely Blog Award to me and other amazing bloggers. I was tickled pink! Thank you Brian!
The award, called the “One Lovely Blog Award”, is a super way to give a shout-out to your favorite blogs. It makes me feel good to give someone a compliment. It makes me feel even better to give them an award!
Brian included some rules, which I am passing on to the list that I chose. There is no pressure: if you do not feel like participating, it is ok. Just know that I think you are AMAZING! If you would like to make some one’s day and pay it forward, here is what you need to do:
1. Accept the award. Post it on your blog with the name of the person who has granted the award and his or her blog link, and thank them.
2. Pay it forward to 15 other bloggers, whose blogs you admire. – See below for my 15 faves.
3. Contact those blog owners and let them know they’ve been chosen.
